How to Create a UGC Video using Write your Idea
User-generated content (UGC) and avatar-based videos are powerful tools for brands, marketers, and creators looking to engage their audiences with personalized content at scale. Modern AI platforms make creating these videos easier than ever—no technical expertise required! In this article, we’ll walk you through, step by step, how to create a UGC or avatar video from scratch.
Step 1: Navigate to ‘Create New’
After logging in to your preferred video-generation platform, start by finding and clicking the **‘Create New’ **button. This option is usually prominently displayed on your dashboard or homepage, guiding you toward beginning a new video project.
Step 2: Select ‘UGC’
At the top of the next screen, you’ll see several content creation options. Choose the option labeled ‘UGC’. This will take you to the setup interface specifically designed for avatar-driven video content.

Step 3: Choose your preferred mode
You can choose to create UGC video using any of the four options,
- Pick a product from your connected e-commerce store: Create a UGC Video from your products.
- Write Your Idea: Describe what this UGC Video should be about.
- Enter Product URL: We'll fetch the product details for your UGC Video.
- Upload a product image: Create a UGC Video with your assets

Step 4: Creating UGC by "Writing your own Idea":
You can go about it in two ways,
- Manually write a basic idea about your UGC requirements in the text box. (These ideas should be comprehensive otherwise generated UGC may not be accurate)
- Ask Predis AI to generate ideas for you. For this, click on "Generate Ideas for me" button. It will open a pop-up box which will allow you to generate the ideas.

Step 5: Configure your UGC
Customize your UGC Video settings to match your brand style.
You can use 4 different script styles for your UGC, which are,
- Storytelling: Tells a story revolving around your product or idea.
- Promotional: Focuses on promoting your idea, good for s
- Motivational: Create a motivational tone for your UGC
- Exploratory: Explores themes relevant to your requirements.
Also, you can use 2 aspect ratios, which are,
- 9:16, and
- 16:9
These two can be enough for most of the leading social media platforms.

Step 6: Choose your UGC avatar & Voiceover accent and Language
Here, you can pick your favourite avatar. You have options to choose from gender, age, ethnicity of the avatars.
Note: Currently, we do not offer custom avatars and that is something we have set for the coming future.
Underneath the avatar selection, you’ll see options to customize the voice. Pick the accent and language most relevant for your audience. Whether you need a British accent, American, Indian, or another language altogether, this flexibility allows you to localize content for any market.

Step 7: Choose the subtitle style
Choose the subtitle style that matches your requirements. You can always change it after your UGC has been generated.

Step 8: Review your generation
You will see a brief summary of your UGC. You will get to see how much of your credits will be used and the aspect ratio of the UGC video to be generated.

Step 9: Generate Your Video
Once you’ve finalized all the settings, click the ‘Generate’ button. The platform will process your inputs—script, avatar, voiceover, and template—and create the video for you. This may take a few moments. Till then you can explore other features of Predis AI.
Once UGC video is fully generated, you can find that in your content library. Content library is where you can edit your generated UGC and make amend to any variations in the UGC video that you generated.
