Can I use custom avatar for creating UGC video?

No, we do not have that functionality yet and that is something planned for the future. Currently, Predis does not support using Custom (user uploaded) avatar for generating UGC videos.

Can I upload my own images, videos and use it as UGC avatar?

Currently, Predis does not support using Custom (user uploaded) avatar for generating UGC videos.

Can I create a custom avatar using my own photo or face?

Can I change my Avatar after generating my UGC video?

Unfortunately, Predis AI does not allow editing avatar after the UGC video has been generated

What all can I edit after my UGC video is generated?

You can change the following:

1. creatives such as subtitles, its font, its positioning, style, colour, background of texts
2. Captions
3. Hashtags

• Text / captions on the video: yes, tap the text layer in the editor to change words, font, or color.
• Script / voiceover lines: currently requires "regeneration" with updated prompt. You can paste the exact script into the prompt box for finer control. This will charge you credits.
• Avatar / visuals: Scene-by-scene visual editing is not supported today.

My UGC generation failed, can I regenerate again?

If your UGC generation failed, you have up to 3 retry attempts for regeneration.

You will not be charged credits for these retry attempts.

If it still fails, contact support with the failed post URL — we'll refund credits automatically if the failure was on our side.

"Can I regenerate a video if I'm not happy with it? Will it use more credits?"

Hi, regenerating the video once it has been successfully generated will cost you credits.

You could regenerate video without costing you credits only if original generation failed.

However, if generated video is completely out of sync with your expectations, let Predis team review it and we will refund your credits accordingly.

Contact support if you see credits deducted for a failed generation.

Why can't I edit my video? The editor seems broken / greyed out.

• try a hard refresh (Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+R). If editor still doesn't load, it's a known intermittent issue — switch browsers to Chrome/Safari latest.
• If edits aren't saving: check you haven't exceeded the content limit for your plan.

Can I generate avatar videos in Spanish, Portuguese, French, or other non-English languages?

• Supported languages today: English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Hindi, Arabic, and many others.
• To set language: Click on your Brand's name at left bottom corner → Language Setting → select. Or set language per-generation in the prompt box.
• If the video still comes out in English: make sure you've set the brand-level language before generating. Switching mid-generation doesn't retroactively apply.
• Voice quality varies by language — English and Spanish have the most options; smaller languages have fewer voices. Get in touch with us to make it render well.

What aspect ratios are supported for video? Can I convert a 9:16 video to 1:1 after generating?

Short answer, No. You may cannot change aspect ratio of a generated post.

• Supported: 9:16 (Reels, Stories, TikTok), 1:1 (Feed), 16:9 (YouTube, LinkedIn), 4:5 (Feed portrait).
• Choose before generating — aspect ratio is baked into the render.
• Converting after generation is not supported today; regenerating with the new aspect ratio is the current workaround.

The videos don't feature my actual product — they use stock or random images. How do I fix this?

This can happen due to AI errors. To render it perfectly, upload your product images, make the prompt stricter and precise for AI to stick to it. This should solve your issues.

Contact support if you still see a bad generation, we will help you render it better as per your requirements.

The lip sync on my avatar video doesn't match the voice. Can I fix it?

This is true for content in your library. Once you publish the content the lip sync will render well.

• If sync looks severely broken (mouth not moving, or way out of phase), report with the post URL — this is a rendering bug, not a limitation.

Furthermore,

• Lip sync quality depends on the avatar and language chosen. Try a different avatar — some are better-matched to specific languages.
• Shorter scripts generally sync better than long ones.

How do I browse and choose avatars?

• You can select multiple available avatars from avatar library. You have multiple options from age, gender, ethnicity, location to choose your perfect avatar. Unfortunately, custom avatar is a feature we have planned for the future.

Can I change the avatar on an existing video?

• No, you cannot change the avatar on existing video.

The video has visual glitches — distorted faces, extra fingers, warped products. Can I get credits back?"

• AI video models occasionally produce anatomy glitches — usually in fast motion or complex scenes.
• Regenerate with a simpler prompt, shorter duration, or different avatar/scene.
• If the output is unusable, contact support with the post URL — we'll refund credits for verifiable generation failures.

I can't find a feature that used to be there / is this deprecated?

We regularly improve the UGC flow. Recent changes: UGC 2.0 replaces the previous UGC Beta; some options moved.

The voice in my avatar video sounds robotic or too AI. Can I choose a more realistic voice?

We offer multiple voice options per language — from the voice selector, preview each before choosing.
