How to create Short Ad Video using Products from your E-commerce Store

This knowledge base article explains how to create a Short Ad Video by using products from your e-commerce store. This method automatically fetches product details and images from your ecommerce store to generate a customized video.

Note: Short Ad Videos can be made only of 8 seconds.

Creating a Short Ad Video using products from your e-commerce store allows users to quickly generate video content by extracting product information, images, and assets from your ecommerce store. Users can choose whether to include characters or focus solely on the product.

Steps to Create a Short Ad Video Using Product URL

Step1: Access the Video Creation Tool

• Navigate to Create New from the left-hand menu.
• Select Short Ad Video, which is the second option.

Step 2: Choose "Pick a product from this store".

• From the three Short Ad Video creation options, choose Pick a product from ecommerce store or your uploaded producr csv file.

Step 3: Choose your desired products

• On the next screen, choose your desired products to be used for creating Short Ad Video.
• You must select at least one product.
• You can refresh the page to fetch latest products from your ecommerce store.
• Note: Only products with description in your ecommerce store can be used for this option. Products without description will not be listed in this pop-up.

Step 4: Verify Product Description

The system fetches the product description and associated assets automatically.

Product Description:

• You can also enter your custom product description which Predis AI can use to generate your content. (Product description in Short Ad Video can act as prompt to create your content.)
• Users can edit the product description and add additional information as needed.

Pricing:

• You can enter Product original price and your offer price which will be displayed on your generated content.
• This is an optional requirement. It serves well for creating promotional offer ads for products.

Special Instructions

• This is where you can tell Predis AI your special instructions which will be focus of your ad creative. For example, if you want to create ad set focusing on your promotional price then let Predis AI know this by giving it a special instruction.

Assets:

• Sample product images appear in the Assets section. Additional images can be added using the + icon.
• However, only upto 5 images can be selected for creating a Short Ad Video.
• Click Continue to proceed.

Step 5: Select Video Style

This section allows you to configure your short ad video.

Aspect Ratio:

You can select the aspect ratio based on where you plan to publish the video:

• 9:16 – Best suited for mobile-first platforms such as Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Stories. This is a vertical format.
• 16:9 – Best suited for landscape platforms like YouTube, websites, and presentations. This is a horizontal format.

Ad Concepts:

• Ad concepts are textual explanations of how your Short Ad Video will look like. You have up to 4 ad concepts to choose from. You cannot add your custom ad concept here.
• Select an ad concept for the Short Ad Video. You can choose any ad concept as per your preference and then click on Continue.

Brand Setting:

• You can also ensure your brand settings are fine tuned so that Predis AI creates content based on your brand specifications.

Step 6: Summary of Video

• In this section, you can customize the header, subheader, and CTA for your video.
• If you don’t want to include any of these elements, simply uncheck the corresponding options.

The Summary section also displays the estimated credit usage, helping you understand how many credits will be consumed before creating the video. Each Short Ad Video uses approximately 140 credits. However, actual credits used may differ depending on your creation.
