Download, Publish and Find Your Finished Ad

Category: Ad Studio > Image Creation

Target Intent / User Query: How do I download or publish the image ad I just created, and where is it saved?

Keywords: download ad, export image, save ad, publish ad, content library, made with ad studio, caption, schedule post, find my ad, export settings

Overview

A finished Ad Studio image can be downloaded straight from the run, and it is also saved automatically to your Content Library with the caption already written. From the library you can publish it to a connected social account, edit it, or download it later.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Download from the run. On Step 2 · Image, hover the icon to the right of Regenerate — the tooltip reads Download — and click it. The active version (the one marked Now in Version history) is what gets saved.
  • Selecting a version and clicking Download
  • Selecting a version and clicking Download
  1. Pick the right version first. If you generated more than one image, expand Version history · N and click the thumbnail you want before downloading.
  2. Find it in Content Library. Open Content Library from the sidebar. The ad appears at the top of the grid. Use the Image tab to filter out videos and carousels.
  3. Open the post. Click the thumbnail. The preview shows a Made with Ad Studio badge, the credits used for that post, and the Caption written from your ad copy.

  1. Choose an action. Publish sends it to a connected social account, Edit opens the post editor, Download saves the file, and ⋯ holds the remaining options. A thumbs up / down under “Would you use this post?” sends feedback to Predis.

Feature Deep-Dive & Fine-Tuning Tips

  • Download button (run screen): Exports the currently selected version -> Always confirm which thumbnail carries the Now label before clicking, or you’ll export the wrong iteration.
  • Made with Ad Studio badge: Marks posts created through this flow -> Handy for spotting Ad Studio output among posts made in the classic editor.
  • Credits used counter: Shown on the post preview -> The running total for that post, including every regeneration. Useful for costing a campaign after the fact.
  • Auto-written caption: Built from the concept’s Ad copy block -> Already includes your brand hashtag if one is set in Brand Details. Edit it in the post before publishing.
  • Publish: Pushes to a connected account -> Requires a connected platform under Brand & Social Accounts → Social Platforms. Connect Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Business Profile, TikTok, Pinterest, X or YouTube first.
  • Edit: Opens the post editor -> The route for last-mile fixes — a typo, a nudged element — without spending credits on a regeneration.
  • Content Library filters: All / Image / Video / Carousel, plus Search, Date, Tags, Users, Created From and Show archived -> Filter to Image and sort by date to find a recent Ad Studio run fast.
  • Content Calendar: Sidebar → Content Calendar -> Schedule the ad rather than publishing immediately; statuses run Published, Scheduled, Failed, Rejected, In Review, To be generated.
  • Ad copy is separate from the file: Primary text, Headlines and Descriptions live on the Concept step -> Copy those into your ad platform alongside the downloaded image; they aren’t baked into the file.

Frequently Asked Questions / Common Errors

  • Q: Where did my downloaded file go? A: To your browser’s default download folder. The filename is the run ID followed by -image.jpg.
  • Q: What size is the download? A: A single image file rendered at the aspect ratio chosen for the run. A 4:5 ad exports at 1232 × 1536 px.
  • Q: I downloaded the wrong version. A: Expand Version history, click the correct thumbnail so it shows Now, and download again. Re-downloading costs nothing.
  • Q: Can I publish straight from Ad Studio? A: Publishing happens from the post in Content Library, not from the run screen. Open the post and click Publish.
  • Q: The Publish button doesn’t do anything. A: No social account is connected. Go to Brand & Social Accounts → Social Platforms and click Add next to the platform you want.
  • Q: Can I get the ad copy as well as the image? A: Yes. The Ad copy block on the Concept step holds Primary text (long and short), five Headlines and five Descriptions. The caption in Content Library is generated from the same material.
  • Q: Do I have to download it, or is it saved automatically? A: It’s saved automatically to Content Library. Download only when you need the file locally or for an ad platform upload.
