Before You Begin

Make sure:

  • Your UGC video is already created in Predis.ai
  • You are inside the video editor


Steps to Edit Subtitles



Step 1: Open the Video Editor
  1. Log in to your Predis.ai account
  2. Open your UGC video in the content library
  3. Click to Edit


Step 2: Open Subtitles Panel


  1. In the left sidebar, click Subtitles
  2. The subtitle settings panel will appear


Step 3: Select Subtitle Style

Choose a subtitle style based on your video type:

  • Word – Highlights each word individually (recommended for UGC videos)
  • Line – Displays subtitles line by line
  • Line-Word – Combines word + line highlighting
  • Multiline Word – Displays structured multi-word subtitles
  • Multiline Line – Shows multiple lines at once
  • Multiline Seq Line – Displays subtitles in sequential multi-line format

📌 Note: The preview updates automatically when you select a style.


Step 4: Adjust Subtitle Position
  1. Click the subtitle text in the preview window
  2. Drag and reposition it on the video canvas
  3. Ensure subtitles do not overlap with key visuals


Step 5: Customize Subtitle Styling


You can improve subtitle readability by adjusting:

  • Font style
  • Font size
  • Text color
  • Alignment
  • Highlight effects (if available)


Step 6: Preview Your Video
  1. Click Play Current or Play All Scenes
  2. Verify the following:
    • Subtitle timing accuracy
    • Text readability
    • Proper alignment with visuals


Step 7: Save Changes
  1. Click Save in the top-right corner
  2. Your subtitle edits will be applied to the video
