How to Edit a Scheduled Post in Your Content Calendar
Editing Auto-Posted Content
One of the best features of auto-posting is the ability to edit content before it goes live. Here’s how you can do it:
Step 1: Access Your Content Calendar:
After enabling auto-posting, your content will be scheduled in the calendar. You can view and edit posts before they are published.

Step 2: Access and Locate Your Scheduled Post
In this video, we will see how you can edit the post which is already scheduled in your content calendar.
- Go to the Content Calendar section in Dashboard.
- Look for the post that has been scheduled for a future date.
Step 3: Preview and Edit Posts:
Click on any scheduled post to see how it looks. You can make changes to all or some of the social platforms on which this post is scheduled.
Changing the Schedule:
You can also change the schedule of this post to another date (but not a past date). Alternatively, you can choose to discard this post altogether.

Making Changes to Auto Post Media:
If you want to make changes, such as updating the image, text caption, hashtags, or template, you can do so easily from here.
- Click on any one of those platform
- Click on edit post in the top and make changes to all available options such as change or update the image or video. Open the Post Editor and Make Necessary Edits.
- You can rewrite the caption using Predis AI
- You can select or unselect social accounts where this post will be published.
- Ensure the updated post aligns with your content strategy.
Save the changes to proceed further.

Step 3: Save and Verify Your Changes
Once you confirm the changes, they will be applied to all or your selected social media platforms.

Once all the necessary edits are done, click on the Save Icon 💾 Your post is now updated in the content calendar. If your post is scheduled for multiple platforms, you can apply the edits to all platforms simultaneously or apply changes selectively. For example, if you change the media or text, you can save the changes for Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram in one go.
- Click "Apply to all the platform with same aspect ratio" to change the post for all the platform scheduled
- Recheck the Content Calendar to ensure the updates are reflected.
- Verify the post’s details to avoid any scheduling errors.
By following these steps, you can efficiently manage and refine your content without having to delete and recreate posts.
